This brief note introduces you to a book about 1989 Czechoslovakia I just completed writing, titled “Velvet Crossovers.” Witness what happened to my American and Czech family during a pivotal moment in history, as the Iron Curtain began to fracture, as the sun began to set on the Soviet empire, and as Communist Czechoslovakia changed…….. forever.
For any people in your organization who may have come from Czechoslovakia, have relatives there, or just have an interest in reading my reflections on life in that beautiful country during the time of it’s transition to freedom, please direct them to my website http://www.velveteurope1989.com for more helpful information. The book is available in both print and ebook versions.
